Task: Annotated Bibliography – 5 citations An annotated bibliography is a list of citations academic articles. Each citation is followed by a brief paragraph describing your understanding and evaluation of the article and annotations. In order to do the annotated bibliography, individual student must choose one of the topics below relating to OrganisationalBehaviour. Then you are required to read 5 journal articles and summarise your understanding of each article. Students are required to search and select the journal articles in EBSCO or related sources. The annotated bibliography should be about 1000 words. The title/name of each of the 5 journal or magazine articles should be clearly indicated such name of the journal, its author, title of the article and date of publication.

The 12 topics to choose from as follows;

Only 1 topic is to be selected for the annotated bibliography assignment. Students whose annotated bibliography’s assignment contain two or more topics will be penalised for not adhering to the instruction. Each annotation should be concise - you are writing a summary, not an essay. Annotations should be around one paragraph. Write in full sentences using academic vocabulary. Issues that may be mentioned include: the credentials of the authors; the content and scope of the reference; and the main argument and conclusions.

The main intention of both the authors in the final article was to make a comparative study of motivational theory along with considering two theories, which includes Maslow’s Hierarchy Theory and Two factors (Herzberg) Theory. These two motivational theories combined the core effectiveness of different kinds of motivational approaches associated with a certain organizational framework based on certain organizational activities. Therefore, the readers of the present article will be able to concentrate on all the motivational factors, which satisfied the employees of the organization. There are several identified reasons, which proved that Maslow’s Hierarchy theory is the best one measured in certain motivational aspects as compared with Two Factors Theories.
Nevertheless, the main motive of the study was to evaluate as well as to analyze the satisfaction of the employees working in the companies by using the aspects of the motivational approach. The article has indicated the need for motivation to support the value of work for the executives.
