In this business assignmentessay, I have further discussed about how this understanding of culture will help me to develop better management and leadership skills in the future.

Case Experiencein the business assignment
Organizational agility and transparency have become essential for managers and executives for facing various challenging market conditions. They help the firms in operating successfully despite slow economic growth and unpredictable political and economic events. In this regard, organizational agilityas per the business assignmenthas become a strategic imperative as organizations are trying to adapt and keep up with changes and rapidly shifting business environment (Holbeche, 2019). It consists of both adaptability and flexibility, thereby helping firms to respond to predictable changes and prepare for unpredictable situations. In this regard, multinational companies like Intel needs to adapt quickly and efficiently to continuously changing global market conditions. Furthermore, this agility can only be driven by the firm’s culture, which makes it essential for both leaders and managers to foster an agile workplace culture in the company (Gonçalves, et al., 2022). Intel as per the business assignmenthas already been shifting to an agile culture by embracing various methodologies, values and work practices arising from market changes and software development. This is evident from its core values of fearless innovation, customer first and results driven. Fearless innovation enables the firm in anticipating changes and disrupting markets without continuous improvement and innovation, while customer first value helps it to identify changes in their tastes and preferences by anticipating their needs (Intel, 2022). As per the business assignment results driven value helps in making data-driven decisions for responding to challenges and changes in the business environment.Besides, firms should ensure transparency and trust in their culture for improving relationships with the stakeholders (Schnackenbergand Tomlinson, 2016). This transparency as per the business assignmentshould be present through ability, integrity and benevolence dimensions of an efficient workplace culture. Intel focuses on building a transparent organizational culture through its values of One Intel, inclusion, quality and integrity. These values enable the company to ensure continued commitment to both transparency and equity at all levels of management, operations, processes and value chain (Whye, 2019).

In my opinion, Intel has been able to include agility and transparency by developing an organizational culture that fosters these values. It encourages managers, employees, partners and others to be truthful and transparent in their actions alongside valuing diversity, inclusion and high-quality standards. I further think in the business assignmentthat Intel has inculcated the need for being adaptable and flexible to respond to unpredictable market changes in its culture through managerial actions and employee behaviour. I feel including these abilities in the core values of the company has been beneficial in building its agile and transparent culture.

Reflective Analysisin thebusiness assignment
Culture comprises of values, beliefs, principles, norms, customs and traits of a particular group (Bennett, Grossbergand Morris, 2013). Culture as per the business assignmentis also present in organizations, which helps in understanding how they operate in the business environment. From an organizational perspective, culture consists of all interactions and influences amongst employees, managers and services they work in. Organizational culture involves a specific set of norms, values, structures, routines and rules guiding and constraining behaviour of all employees, managers and other members (Beliasand Koustelios, 2014). It is essential to understand the definition of organizational culture for better understanding agility and transparency being present within Intel. This definition as per the business assignmenthas been helpful for me to analyse the set of values, customs and norms prevalent in the case study company. I have further been able to gain detailed insight about these cultural aspects have further enabled the company to improve its agility and transparency within organizational operations and processes. For example, the core value of fearless innovation has enabled me to explore how the company focuses on anticipating change and disrupting markets for enhancing its agility in the market (Intel, 2022). Furthermore, it also uses customer first approach for anticipating their needs and preferences so that they can be met with its products and services. Besides, another value like results driven has provided me with the idea that the company makes data-driven decisions to deliver long-term value to its stakeholders (Intel, 2022). Thus, this shows in thebusiness assignmentthat I have used the organizational culture perspective for analysing the agility and transparency in Intel.

Furthermore, the theoretical aspect of different types of organizational culture has also been helpful for me to better analyse agility and transparency within Intel. For example, Intel displays an innovative culture with focus on openness to change that helps in being agile and transparent (Wei, et al., 2013). It fosters this culture through achievement, task innovation, task support, affiliation and self-actualization in the business assignment. This is embedded within its core values of continuous innovation and improvement for responding to market changes, empowering teams and valuing inclusion and diversity in the workplace (Intel, 2022). In my opinion, Intel also fosters a task-oriented culture with emphasis on detail and quality of its products and services with managers focusing on high ambitions and success. This is evident from its core value of quality that includes delivering high-quality and reliable products and services to the customers (Mikkelson, Yorkand Arritola, 2015). Besides, I have also observed entrepreneurial culture within Intel from the analysis. This is because of its focus on anticipating needs and requirements of customers in dynamic environment (Beliasand Koustelios, 2014). The company as per the business assignmentemphasizes on making changes, undertaking innovation, taking calculated risks and working with freedom and autonomy. This has helped me to realize how Intel represents agility and transparency in its organizational culture. Thus, I feel that these different perspectives of organizational culture including the values or norms and the types of culture have been of utmost importance for me in handling the case experience.

Discussion
Understanding organizational culture can be beneficial for me in the future career for becoming a successful manager. It is essential for top executives, leaders and managers as per the business assignment to gain a detailed understanding about strategy and culture for maintaining organizational viability and effectiveness (Groysberg, et al., 2018). With the help of culture, managers can express goals through organizational values and beliefs, thereby guiding behaviours and activities through shared assumptions and group norms. According to me in thebusiness assignment, gaining knowledge about culture is crucial for better understanding the unspoken behaviours, social patterns and mindsets of the employees, which will eventually help me to improve my leadership skills and management abilities. Culture can be socially learned and transmitted with the help of its members and it provides rules for displaying particular behaviours in the organization (Körner, et al., 2015). I think that it can help me to understand practices, values and assumptions within the firms for shaping the behaviours and attitudes of subordinates whom I will be leading as a manger. Here in thebusiness assignment, I will also be able to display such positive behaviours shaped by the values or norms of the organizations for setting examples in front of the employees. Thus, this understanding of culture will be essential for me to influence my own behaviour and subordinates’ actions in the company. Furthermore, I need to become aware about the significant role that culture plays in the success or failure of an organization. This will help me to undergo through various training programmes and gain adequate knowledge for building successful culture in my future career. In this regard, understanding the environment in which people work and the consequent influence on their thoughts, actions and work experience as per the business assignmentis what will help me to grasp the concept of organizational culture. Cultures can vary significantly both within and between organizations (Warrick, 2017). By understanding this fact, I can bring out the best in people working under me and thus, I can foster positive workplace environment for my subordinates to work. Here in thebusiness assignment, I also need to realize that lack of such understanding can result in bringing out the worst in these subordinates, thereby creating stressful and dysfunctional environments for them.

As per the business assignmentI should focus on understanding organizational culture for providing support to my subordinates when I become a manager in the future. This management support is essential for knowledge sharing that determines success of failure of an organization. Organizational culture has a significant impact on willingness and behaviours of employees associated with knowledge sharing (Lee, Shiue and Chen, 2016). Thus, having a detailed knowledge about this will enable me to encourage or impede knowledge-sharing activities of the employees. Furthermore in this business assignment, I will be able to foster a culture of trust, values and sociability within the organization for stimulating this sharing of knowledge and interaction amongst the employees. This can be possible by influencing individual interpretation and response of my subordinates in different situations.Besides, shaping organizational culture is utmost important for managers in creating learning environments (Changand Lin, 2015). In my opinion in the business assignment, focussing on this will help me to improve my own skills, knowledge and abilities along with improving that of the subordinates. Here in the business assignment, I will also become more efficient in motivating my subordinates as a manager in pursuing various knowledge application practices by having a better understanding of the organizational culture. This is because I will be able to generate a positive influence by aligning their individual goals, values and principles with the organizational values and customs embedded in the culture. Thus, I think in the business assignmentthat developing an understanding of culture will be crucial for my professional development as a manager in the future.
