Question

Task: How can HR managers use human resource ethics assignment research methods to design effective HR policies?

Answer

AIM-
The aim of the research is to find out how the online training of McDonald's on the Isle of Man has influenced the happiness of the staff.

Objective-

  • To Identify the reasons why organizations need to train their staff.
  • To critically analyze how the online training of McDonald's on the Isle of Man impacts the happiness of the employees.
  • To critically discuss the performance of the Mc. Donalds in association with employee attrition and training.
  • To recommend the tactical strategy to improve the employee performance with training.

Methodology
Approach

This research is based on a deductive approach. The deductive approach is a type of research approach which is based on testing an existing theory. This approach always starts with a theory which is a result of inductive research. There should always be an existing theory otherwise deductive research can not be conducted (Pandey, 2019). However, in this particular case, it is stated that the happiness of the staff can be influenced by online training. Therefore, a particular hypothesis has already been created here so that the deductive research approach is justified.

Design
The research design that is used in this research is the qualitative research design. This design is applicable to this research. Qualitative research is applicable for research where the researcher is trying to know the reason behind the issue (Alvesson, Sandberg, and Einola, 2022). This research design helps to identify how it is helping the staff. Here in this research, the issue is an “increment of happiness in the staff of the company”. The qualitative research design will help to find out the reason behind the increment in happiness. This design will help to find out how the online training is helping to increase the happiness of the staff.

Methods
This research is based on the qualitative research method. The method collects data from experience, behavior, etc. The particular research method is based on the real-life experience of an individual (Braun, et al 2021). This research method helps to find out how things are happening. This method will help to find out how the online training is helping to increase the happiness of the staff. This method is focused on quality rather than quantity. However, in this case, the research is completely based on the happiness of the employees influenced by online training; a real-life survey is important to learn the mental state of the employees. Therefore, the qualitative research method is unavoidable in this study.

Participants
This research is based on some participants from different sections of the company. The participants are 30 workers of Mc. Donalds. A survey was organized to get accurate information from the employees who are in training. Survey has been sent to the employees and they were expected to give the right answer on which future research can be conducted. However, the survey is one of the most common methods of data collection from scratch ((Guillemin, et al., 2018)

Ethical consideration
The research is conducted with ethics. However, all the ethical considerations are properly maintained during this study. Moreover, the privacy of the employees has been kept secret. However, the survey has been conducted with the consent of the participants with maintaining transparency.

  • The research was conducted with full respect for the participants. The research is conducted by asking some questions to the participants. The questions were asked in Google forms so the anonymity of the participants was well established. The participants were also interviewed in video conference one at a time so the confidentiality was well established. The research also included some group discussion which was conducted with only the same type of employees as all the trainers were invited in the same group and other employees were not invited there(Kiani, et al 2018.). The same goes with trainees and the managers too. All the managers were invited at once and all the trainees were invited at once.
  • The research is done based on scientific integrity. The researchers have used scientific tools to do this research. Researchers have collected data through a qualitative method and all the data were collected through the interaction with the employees. The participants were asked to answer questions that were prepared through study and analyzing some other qualitative research. The help of an expert was also considered to conduct this research. This research was planned in a scientific manner. These tools researchers have used were also well prepared before the research.
  • This research is also socially responsible (Crespi-Abril, and Rubilar, 2021). The following research is solely based on the measurement of the happiness of the employees. However, a deeper introspection will reveal that the research is associated with the people of a particular working class, therefore, from this viewpoint, the research discusses issues and mental well-being of a particular class that clearly depicts the social responsibility within the research.
  • The researchers have conducted this research being responsible for lessening the risks and maximizing the benefits. However, from a deeper viewpoint, it can be said that the managers of the organization can get benefits from here. When the hierarchy knows if their employees are happy or not, they can make a better decision about employees’ well-being which ultimately refers to employee retention. Moreover, on the other hand, employees also get benefitted from this particular research as there is a chance that their managers will get take necessary action to improve their well-being during training. The managers will also be helpful through this study. They will get some knowledge that will help their professional growth. However, apart from the managers in the organization, the department of the human resource managers will be benefited from this research.
