Execution: this process involves following the timeline and accomplishing the tasks.

Monitoring and controlling: monitoring is an observation period that helps to observe the task execution process and assures a proper execution of the tasks (Dumrak, Baroudi & Hadjinicolaou, 2017). As per the standard approach, schedule and time of the project is adjusted as time limitations and expenditure of the project often exceeds. In comparison to the agile approach, the PMBOK is eligible and linear for managing large-scale projects. However, this approach generally relies for the approval of stakeholders and basically focuses more on the procedure of the project.
