System Engineering Assignment Examining Functional Analysis And Allocation

Question

Task: Functional Analysis and Allocation (FA&A) is a key process in systems engineering design. In this group assignment you are to you are required to write a ~2000 word report that critically reviews the FA&A process. The review is to address the following:

  • inputs and outputs for the FA&A process
  • the staging of the FA&A process within the system life-cycle
  • approaches/methods for performing both analysis and allocation

This is to be a general review - there is no requirement for it to be grounded in your case study from assignment 1.
The assessment criteria are as follows:

  1. Introduction
  2. Overview of the FA&A process (purpose, inputs, outputs, staging, supporting processes)
  3. Approaches/methods for functional analysis
  4. Approaches/methods for functional allocation
  5. Conclusion
  6. Research skills
  7. Layout and presentation

The weighting of the assignment is 20%. I expect that the report will consist of 5 sections corresponding to criteria 1-5. In terms of research skills what is being assessed is to synthesise multiple resources into a coherent and balanced story. In this regard, you will need to have multiple references, but no minimum number is specified. Harvard referencing is to be used.

Answer

Introduction
The study of system engineering assignment is focused on the concept of system engineering which is considered as one of the most effective top-down, iterative and “hierarchical decomposition” that is the requirements of the system. This system is supported by the significant studies of trade that is considered as one of the most important parts of the process. The methodology of top-down, "hierarchical decomposition" and iterative studies includes the activities of the "functional analysis", "Allocation" and "Synthesis". The topic of this report is to analyze of the two most controversial process that is related to the “Functional Analysis and Allocation” of the “system engineering design”. The purpose of this report is to provide the details of the output and inputs of these process and the approaches of the allocation and the approaches of the analysis of this process are described by the author within a descriptive manner. The overview of this process is provided by the author and he also mentioned some respective analyses of the report in a very brief manner. In this case, the most important part of this report is to focus on the analysis and mentioned the requirements of the “FA&A” process. Although, the author stated that the report is all about the processes and its effect on the "system engineering design".

Overview of FA & A process in system engineering assignment
The process of the "FA&A" is the key focus of this study and the author mentioned it with all the descriptions and analyses of the process. The purpose of this process is to evaluate the design of the “system engineers” and the engineers connected with the other engineers from the descriptive of the study (Alves et al. 2016). Thus, the analysis of the process of “FA&A” in the perspective of the engineers who play a significant role in the respect of the outputs, inputs, supporting process and staging.

Outputs: The output of the "FA&A" process depends on the functional "architecture and supporting details" (Deelman et al. 2015).

Inputs: The input of this process depends on the analysis requirements of the outputs.

Controls: The controls of this process depend on the constraints, the “organizational procedures”, the choice of subsystem and system concept and COTS, GFE and S/W.

Activities: thee stages off this process are-

  • System modes and states
  • Functional interfaces
  • Performance
  • Resources and timing
  • External interfaces
  • Integrated functions

Through this process, the most interesting thing that is come to the forefront is the analysis of the study and their role is also important. The fact of this report is the analysis of the activities that are mentioned in a very descriptive way. There is also a need to describe that the process of analysis and the description of the activities are provided in this report (Eltayeb et al. 2016). Through the activities, it may be stated that the states and the modes of the system are described in this report from the perspective of the analysis and they also provided some inspirational details and some innovative ideas. The interfaces of the function of this process and the external interfaces also involved in this case. Another important feature of the process is the performance of the “FA&A” process. Thus, the author is going to describe some innovative ways through which they can invite some useful and interactive things. The functions of the process are described in such a useful manner that the author is going to mention all the things through the perspectives of the analysis of the study (Liu et al. 2015). The outputs and the inputs of the process describe those things that can help the system to prove some useful things. The activities of this process are described in very descriptive and analytical manners. The most important thing that is needed to be mentioned is that the analysis of the activities and description of the controls. Further studies stated that the description of all the processes and the analytical studies may describe later in the report.     [Referred to Appendix 1 of system engineering assignment]
Methods of functional analysis
Functional analysis refers to those aspects off the approaches that include the functional, experimental and indirect procedure of analysis. In this perspective the most important facts that are needed to be mentioned id the behavior of the people. This is why functional analysis is important. Most of the time, the assessment of the approach that is innovatively mentioned in this report is described (Sari et al. 2018). Through those aspects, the author may describe some useful aspects of the research is going to be successful or not. There is a reason that is conducted on the behavior of the research. The functional analysis is itself is a method that is used for the benefit of the basic behavior and the challenges that are faced by the behaviors. To control the condition, this functional condition is used for better development. The conditions illustrated in system engineering assignment are-

  • Attention condition: If the individual faces and problem with the behaviors then it will need proper and positive attention. This attention can be anything, maybe physical or psychological. The factors of the attention depend on the analysis of the study and their role is also important and descriptive.
  • Demand condition: This occurs when the problem behavior avoids the demand of the task. Thus, it can be said that the author is described allthe4 details in such a manner that the proposal of the data analysis is described.
  • Tangible condition: This thing happens when the author is going to describe all the possible things in a very apt manner and their relation with the problem behavior is also important. This condition is the indirect condition that is the indirect analysis off the study.
  • Alone condition: This condones described the problem behavior with the description of the alone condition. This is happening with the individual in their whole life. It also some important and descriptive most of the reports. The author is going mentioned in these perspectives. This type of condition is very appropriate and generic.

The advantages off free “FA&A” are

  • This process helps to provide the basic and informative data that are required for the analysis of the data.
  • It has some crucial and important aspects that may help the organization to involved new things in the report.
  • This process has direct and sometimes has indirect attention to the organization.

The advantages of the organization also depend on the different types of manners and the problem behavior-

  • This system engineering assignment follows the different perspective and the data that are from the interview is considered the most important.
  • This is providing accurate data but they will also have to introduce some interesting things that are directly connected with the behavior.
  • The accuracy of the data is always in doubt.

All these things are described in a very apt manner where the author used the ideal characteristics and useful attention that can improve the problem of the behaviors of the individual. The most interesting part of the report is the connection between the two individuals and share the most innovative things (Sillmann et al. 2015). From the perspective of the study, the author can say that the interesting and crucial part of the study and their analysis is also described in this report.

Methods of functional allocation
The allocation of the functional attribute is invented in this report by the author. Another important part of the study depends on the allocation of those aspects where the authors are the main concern. This allocation system depends on the effectiveness of the system of some other criteria based analysis. This can be enunciated and descried that the author is going to mention those innovative ideas and innovating descriptions of the software (Vaidyanathan et al. 2015). The most interesting part that is reminded is the remuneration of the study and its effectiveness in the country is needed to be discussed. The allocation is one of the aspects where the author is the most interesting and crucial matter of discussion. The most important and identified issue of this allocation is their relation with the engineers and with the nonliving things is considered the most interesting part of the study.  [Referred to Appendix 2]
The characteristics of the functional allocation may be implemented through some innovative ways that will help the author to mention them. The characteristics discussed in the system engineering assignment are-

  • The allocation is the process of supplying it on the command. The author also mentions that the description of the analysis and their relation with the other perspectives may be defined (Zaidi et al. 2016).
  • The role of the authors and the role of the other innovative manufacturing process may implement in the work in such a manner that all the description is the most obvious.
  • The facilities of the allocation are mentioned in this report (Wang et al. 2015).
  • The author also describes that their elation is only depended on the innovative use of the allocation on the systems
  • The system should be identified by its old user and change the users of the most interesting part of the purport.

The advantages of the “functional allocation” outlined in this system engineering assignment are –

  • Effective and precise
  • Manipulative and descriptive
  • Identical and proportionate
  • Manufacturing process.

The disadvantages of the are also mentioned and those are-

  • Despite the management
  • Ill performance of the employees
  • The management of innovative ideas. The context of this report and the development of the report where the author focuses on the allocations.
  • Less information available
  • They have a very generic way of description

-All theses function off the staff man the responsibility other fights are better. But on the other hand, it shows the manager and review team and the facilities of this paper are described is a very crucial and imitative idea of the description of the factual and innovative sports here the sweet cannot kin from the description. All the requirements of the research and this study are based on those purposes that are concerned through the research (Viezbicke et al. 2015). Thus, the author may involve a good and innovative way of allocating the solutions of the problem ideas. The allocation of the functions of the organization may be invented from the perspective of different was of a succession of their innovative and the headquarters of this allocation is depends on the productive approaches. The approaches of the report are based on the topic and the desire of the allocation. Information on the computer the same is monthly here to contribute to interact and technique. Thus, it was an entertainer for them.

Conclusion
The whole of this system engineering assignment is based on the system science through the science the author nay effected through the analyzed the factors and there were also are hoi got the desertion of ghee research of the time where the discussion ant be interbred. It is the responsibility of the organization to take thee “FA&A” method and crying to provide all the details very are the lighthearted choice of course. If the organizations can provide the best service to the customers then the importance of the system and the importance of the “FA&A” will be the great forth dinner. The role of the author and the working prices of organizations need to be discussed. The methods of the functional allocation and the functional analysis are describing in a very crucial way of manner. Overview of the study is described and the process of the process is also described. The crucial matter of a discussion that is used for the better benefit of the size and the allocation of the problem behavior and the proposal of the research is described in a very apt way. The report is also showed that. The idea that innovatively describer in the meeting is the most impartial writer. The process of the organization and the basic ways of the research are described in this report. From the perspective of another system, this new system provides the most useable items off the organization and of the career settlement also. The topic of this report is describing mentioned in both the methods of the function.
